Dress by me for Clockwork Ball Masquerade, New Years 2012
Having heard of the Clockwork Ball years ago, I always wanted to go with a big ballgown with a bustle. This year, I made it my goal to go to the New Year's Masquerade in an appropriately sparkly gown, and I made it to match a mask I had bought while on a trip to New Orleans. The dress is made from spare fabric that my High School marching band used to "flood" the field during a New Orleans post-Katrina tribute show we used to fund a trip to fix up the 9th Ward. It has been sprayed with gold glitter-spray to create a bit of a false fading look.
